Support

Donors to the SLI scholarship funds can participate alongside University undergraduate mentors, SLI high school students, parents and faculty colleagues to scale barriers between our SLI students and successful completion of college.

Support SLI!

UR SLI Group April 2009

The Scholars Latino Initiative assists determined high school students gain admission to, win financial assistance for, and achieve success at colleges and universities. The Initiative also provides University of Richmond undergraduates with opportunities for sustained public service and hands-on learning about the issues related to demographic changes, poverty, and college access in their country. The three-year relationship between UR mentors and SLI high school students is at the heart of our program. Every person involved in SLI is committed to helping the Initiative’s students become compelling candidates for college admission and aid.
