This 5 K run/walk honors Emma Quinn, a three-year-old girl who was diagnosed last fall with MPS I, a rare genetic disorder. Her tenacity in fighting this disease is a source of inspiration - and a reason to celebrate. Emma's Run will be held in conjunction with similar events in cities across the country, where thousands of runners and walkers will gather to raise funds for kids and families affected by MPS diseases. Last year's MPS Society 5K Walk/Runs held in eleven cities were very successful, nationally raising $177,000. Please help make Emma's Run a strong contributor to this 2002 fundraising effort. |
